Straight Stitch Foot & Needle Plate for Janome Jem

The Janome Straight Stitch Needle Plate is used for Straight Stitching in the center position. The Straight stitch plate helps provide a more stable base. The smaller opening is great for working on fine fabrics that are prone to getting pulled into the feed dogs.

The Janome Straight Stitch Presser foot improves contact with the feed dogs resulting in more accurate and consistent feed which creates a higher quality straight stitch. The Straight Stitch foot is also used for straight stitch applications using fine or lighter weight fabrics where a wide center foot opening might cause the fabric to be pulled into the bobbin area. The straight stitch needle plate guarantees even fabric feed at the beginning and end of the seam, while avoiding the fabric from being pulled into the needle plate opening. Ideal for piecing quilt blocks or quilting the layers together, this Needle Plate provides a more stable base for difficult, slippery fabrics. This plate is the perfect plate for free-motion quilting and working in tiny areas.

This plate will work on any Jem Silver, Jem Gold, Jem Gold 2, Platinum 720 or 760, Jem Lite or any Janome, New Home, or Kenmore Jem Series machine.

This accessory will fit on Janome machines in Category B: Top loading machines (6.5mm - 7mm max stitch width - low shank)
