Janome Straight Stitch Foot & Needle Plate for Fine Fabrics

The straight stitch needle plate guarantees even fabric feed at the beginning and end of the seam, while avoiding the fabric from being pulled into the needle plate opening.

Often used on very fine or very heavy fabrics, the Straight Stitch Foot is flat on the underside to provide an even pressure against the feed dogs. It has a rounded needle hole which offers the benefit of more support around the needle to prevent skipped stitches and puckering. 

Assembly and fitting: The foot is attached directly to the clamping pin. In the first step, unscrew the handle with the standard foot, and then screw the foot in its place.
