Janome Fringe Foot, 7mm Low Shank

Create your own fringe on your quilting or craft project with the fringe foot. The divider in the center of the foot creates a large loop when sewing a zig-zag stitch. After sewing simply cut the loop close to one side to create a fringe. Use this foot to add a decorative touch to your quilting and home décor projects. Like other free motion feet, the addition of small grooves allows cording, yarn, or threads to pass underneath the presser foot. Two different feet are included to match your material’s thickness.

The foot allows you to create fringes and convex (three-dimensional) decorations. Fringes are made with an overlock stitch (to obtain fringes, cut the bottom thread after sewing). Three-dimensional (spatial) decorations are created with a dense zigzag stitch. With this foot, you can originally decorate pillowcases, table runners, tablecloths, bags, clothing and create beautiful surface texture, custom trims, fringed flowers and appliques or use it to create traditional tailors tacks. It will be indispensable when creating carnival costumes and costumes for dancers.

Assembly and fitting

• The foot is mounted in the place of the quick-release foot holder Go Matic (using a screw).
• It will fit machines with a shuttle hook and a rotary hook with a low foot holder.
