Janome Fringe Foot, 7mm (High Shank)

The fringing foot is designed for fagoting and sewing thread fringe. This decorative touch is especially effective in applique work. Create your own fringe on your quilting or craft project with the fringe foot. The divider in the center of the foot creates a large loop when sewing a zig zag stitch. After sewing simply cut the loop close to one side to create a fringe. The Fringe Foot, sometimes called a tailor tacking foot, has a raised bar at the front which causes the thread to stand away from the fabric. Once the thread loops are formed, pull the fabric slightly apart and cut. What you have is perfect, thread markings on your fabric. However, as its name implies, the fringe foot will also make fringes for craft and decorative work.

This accessory will fit on Janome machines in Category C-1 & C-2: Top loading machines (7mm max stitch width - high shank)
