If your overlocker is not cleanly trimming fabric edge, it is most likely that the blades or knives are becoming blunt and need to be replaced. In fact, lots of stitching problems are caused by the cutters being in less than perfect condition. For Janome Overlocker Upper Knife, we recommend changing both knives at the same time to avoid the new knife blade from getting damaged or prematurely worn by cutting against the older blade.
