Janome Even Feed (Walking ) Foot, 9mm (Skyline S5, MC6650, MC9900, MC9850)

The Even Feed Foot, sometimes referred to as the walking foot, is designed with a set of feed dogs which allow the fabric to feed without shirting and eliminates the problem of the under layer of fabric coming up short. The even feed foot is also great for topstitching, which can be spoiled due to irregularity of stitching. This is often caused by the bulk created with the seam allowance especially around collars and reveres. Using the walking foot for topstitching will eliminate this problem and give perfect stitching every time. The Janome 9mm Even Feed Foot for Skyline S5 and 9900 has a standard closed-toe and does not include a guide. A ‘walking’ foot for your sewing machine is essential if you are a quilter. The even feed foot is designed to feed layers of fabric evenly which makes it perfect for quilting, sewing velvet, stretch fabrics, imitation leather, leather, suede, minky, fleece and any fabrics needing precise pattern matching. This foot is great for creating patchwork and decorations. The serrations built into this presser foot additionally press against the material at the same time as the feed dog teeth on the machine. Thanks to this, the materials do not wrinkle and do not shift against each other. 

This accessory will fit on Janome machines in Category D-2: Top loading machines without AcuFeed (9mm max stitch width - high shank)
