The guide of this foot aligns edges or seams of fabric so that neatly parallel edge stitching and topstitching can be achieved with ease. Adjust the guide by turning the screw to match the edge or seam precisely. This extremely handy foot for the 9mm sewing machines can be used on many edge-stitched sewing projects. It allows you to perfectly place stitches along edges and seams. It's great for tucks, hems and fine edge work such as that on lace or ribbon or a decorative edge. For 9mm machines only. 

This accessory will fit on Janome/Elna machines in Category D-1 & D-2: Top loading machines (9mm max stitch width - high shank)
